Join Us for Our First District Meeting!
Our first 2026-2027 2-E2 District Meeting will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Colleyville. All District 2-E2 Lions are invited to join us for a day of learning, service, and fellowship as we begin an exciting new year.
Whether you are a club officer, zone chair, committee chair, or club member, this meeting is an excellent opportunity to learn, connect, and prepare for a successful year. The morning will feature training for club officers and zone chairs, providing practical information, resources, and ideas to help strengthen your club and enhance your service to your community. Training on the Lions Portal will be incorporated into all the training sessions, helping leaders become more comfortable using the tools available to support their clubs.
One of the highlights of our first District Meeting will be a hands-on service project supporting the District 2-E2 Eyeglass Recycling Center. Throughout the meeting, Lions will have the opportunity to stop by the Service Room and help sort donated eyeglasses that will eventually be distributed to people in need around the world. Whether you can volunteer for a few minutes or a longer period, your participation will make a real difference.
A delicious lunch of hamburgers and veggie burgers will be prepared by the famous BBQ crew of the Colleyville Lions. As you enjoy lunch, we will hear from Sleep in Heavenly Peace about our upcoming October 2-E2/2-X1 bed build. Our special guest, 2026-2027 MD-2 Council Chair Chris Gunstream will share a preview of the many exciting MD-2 initiatives, events, and opportunities that will take place during the coming year. Immediate Past District Governor Michelle Greco also has a few surprised in store at lunch.
The Cabinet Meeting will immediately follow lunch, where we’ll discuss district initiatives, upcoming events, and opportunities for every club to become more engaged in our shared mission.
Our district grows and becomes stronger when we learn from one another and work together. All clubs are invited to join us as we launch a new Lions year focused on expanding our impact through meaningful service, developing future leaders, and strengthening our clubs. Together, we will plant the seeds that will allow District 2-E2 to continue growing and serving our communities for years to come.
