DESCRIPTION:PID Sam’s 4th Annual Field Trip to Texas Lions Camp\n\n\n\nLions across the district are invited to take part in a meaningful and memorable experience at the upcoming PID Sam’s 4th Annual Field Trip to Texas Lions Camp\, taking place on June 12\, 2026.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTexas Lions Camp has long been a cornerstone of Lionism in Texas\, providing life-changing experiences for children with special needs. This field trip offers Lions a unique opportunity to see firsthand the incredible work being done and the impact our service has on so many lives.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will meet at the Administration Building at 2:00 PM on Friday\, June 12th for a guided tour of the camp. This is a great chance to connect with fellow Lions\, learn more about the camp’s mission\, and deepen your understanding of one of our most important service projects.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor those planning to stay overnight\, accommodations have been arranged at the Inn of the Hills Hotel & Conference Center\, with special group rates available for attendees . Reservations should be made using the group code provided in the flyer\, with a cutoff date of May 12\, 2026 .\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis annual trip continues to grow and serves as a powerful reminder of why we serve. SUMMARY:Burleson Lions Club 22nd Annual Independence Day Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Burleson Lions Club is proud to present the 22nd Annual Independence Day Parade on Saturday\, July 4\, 2026\, in Old Town Burleson with a 9:00 AM kickoff start.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis long-standing community tradition has become one of the largest Fourth of July parades in North Texas and continues to grow each year. Families from across the area come together to celebrate freedom\, community\, and patriotism in a fun\, positive\, and family-friendly atmosphere.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe parade annually draws more than 9\,000 spectators\, nearly 200 vehicles\, 50 horses\, and over 1\,200 parade participants\, making it one of the premier Independence Day celebrations in the region. This year’s event will be especially meaningful as the community celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Burleson Lions Club works year-round to organize this incredible event\, which also serves as the club’s only fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the parade directly support the club’s many community service projects and charitable efforts throughout the Burleson area.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Burleson Lions invite everyone across District 2-E2 and surrounding communities to come out\, wave the American flag\, enjoy the patriotic spirit\, and celebrate Independence Day together in Old Town Burleson.

DESCRIPTION:Sherman Noon Lions Club Tees Up for 28th Annual “Fairways for Vision” Golf Tournament\n\n\n\nThe Sherman Noon Lions Club is proud to announce its 28th Annual “Fairways for Vision” Charity Golf Tournament\, scheduled for Friday\, October 2\, 2026\, at Stone Creek Country Club in Sherman\, Texas.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis long-standing event continues to be one of the club’s premier fundraisers\, bringing together community members\, local businesses\, and supporters for a day of fellowship and service—all centered around a shared mission: serving those in need through vision care and community support.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFounded in 1928\, the Sherman Noon Lions Club has remained committed to improving lives through eyesight conservation. Proceeds from the tournament directly benefit programs such as providing eye exams and glasses for children\, supporting local families in need\, and assisting youth with disabilities through specialized summer camps. In addition\, funds help support organizations like Family Promise\, Master Key Ministries\, Texoma Exposition & Livestock Show\, and scholarships at Grayson College.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe tournament will feature a four-person scramble format with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will enjoy a full day that includes green fees\, cart\, breakfast pastries\, lunch\, beverages\, and an awards ceremony.
